Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s in-house media and experiential division Westfield Rise has expanded to the US. The move marks a significant milestone for URW and brings a wealth of expertise in dynamic media, immersive experiences, signature events and strategic partnerships to US brands and consumers.

Founded in 2022, Westfield Rise has become an integral part of URW's offer. The in-house agency plays a pivotal role in transforming our shopping centres into multidimensional, immersive destinations by offering brands a dynamic platform to interact with and engage our visitors. In 2024, in Europe alone, Westfield Rise delivered more than 1,360 physical activations at our shopping centres, partnering with brands including CHANEL, adidas, Walt Disney, H&M and Amazon Prime, adding to the richness and variety of the customer journey at our centres.

In conjunction with this launch, Westfield Rise US will introduce the Immersive Experiential Display (IXD) Network, a state-of-the-art media platform designed to showcase the world’s top brands through advanced digital displays. Debuting in 2025 across 10 of our US flagship centres, the IXD Network features nearly 300 displays and a new creative tech pack which allows brands to easily create show-stopping 3D content.

The power of the IXD Network will enhance the advertising landscape in the US, providing a flexible platform for brands to achieve their marketing goals. It offers exceptional audience measurement capabilities, enabling brands to run impactful, customizable campaigns while engaging consumers in entirely new ways. Each display is equipped with features including dual cameras for real-time, privacy-respectful consumer insights and personalised interactive experiences – all while using almost 20% less energy.

The IXD Network uses the most advanced technology available today and joins an unrivalled array of digital advertising solutions from Westfield Rise, including the new Digital Dream at Westfield Les 4 Temps, and the HALO displays at Westfield Mall of Scandinavia and Westfield Centro.
