Inaugurated in 1958 by General Charles de Gaulle, CNIT (Centre of New Industries and Technologies) is an emblematic building designed by architects Robert Camelot, Jean de Mailly, and Bernard Zehrfuss. CNIT launched the construction of the largest purpose-built business district in Europe—La Défense. With the largest unsupported concrete vault in the world at 22,500 sqm and 46 meters high, the building is an architectural marvel. Its strategic location offers direct access to all public transportation and La Défense’s ring road. Completely multifunctional, with a variety of retail and dining offers, this mixed-use destination also features a Hilton hotel, a convention centre, as well as numerous office spaces. In March 2017, CNIT MOVE, a space equipped with a climbing wall and escape game was inaugurated. CNIT also has the largest Anticafé co-working spaces in Europe.
